Introduction

Admins have the option to add, remove, and edit vehicles and can be accessed under the 'Vehicle' option on the main menu of our web portal. Let's take a look at these features and how they can help you manage your fleet more efficiently.


Adding New Vehicles to the Fleet

To add a new vehicle to your fleet, login to the ClearQuote web dashboard with your Admin credentials.

  1. Navigate to the 'Vehicles' option in the web dashboard. You will see the list of existing vehicles in your fleet here.
  2. Click on the 'Add new Vehicle' tab.
  3. Fill in the fields with relevant information about the vehicle. Please note the fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
  4. Select the body style and click ‘Create Vehicle’ at the bottom right of the page.



Removing/De-Fleeting Vehicles

To remove/de-fleet a vehicle, click on the 'Vehicle' tab. You will see a list of existing vehicles.

  1. To de-fleet a single vehicle from the fleet list, disable the toggle switch on the right side of the page next to the vehicle. To re-enable it, simply click the same toggle switch.

  2. To de-fleet multiple vehicles at once, check the boxes next to the vehicles you want to de-fleet, click the 'Action' button, and then select 'Change to Inactive'. To re-enable multiple disabled vehicles, simply click the 'Action' button and select 'Change to Active'.


Editing Existing Vehicles

To edit an existing vehicle,

  1. Click anywhere on the vehicle you want to edit.
  2. In the pop-up tab, click 'Edit Vehicle'.
  3. You can change the 'Current Location' using the dropdown menu.
  4. There is also an option to make the vehicle inactive or active.
  5. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.


Additional Features

  1. Filters to view fleet list:

    • Default filters to view active and inactive vehicles.
    • Dropdown filters to view fleet list by 'Fuel Type,' 'Ownership Type,' and 'Location'.

  2. Vehicle Damage History:

    • Click anywhere on the vehicle to view its historical damage summary.
    • A pop-up tab will open, showing the details of all inspections carried out for that specific vehicle, with direct links to each past inspections.
    • Click on 'View Details' button to see the full damage history of the vehicle.
