Overview
Once the vehicle assessment is complete, there may be cases where the user might wish to change the status of a detected damage, add additional damages that have not been detected, or to delete it entirely. This can be achieved by following these steps:
Procedure
Open the inspection you wish to edit, from the homepage or search. (Refer: How to search for an inspection?) This opens the inspection page. In the table displaying the damages detected, click on the image of the damage you wish to edit.
Adding damage
A new damage can be manually added by following these steps. In this example, a new damage is being added to the cabin roof panel.
- Click on the thumbnail of the panel in the table
- In the popup, click on 'Add Damage'
- In this screen, click on the Plus (+) icon to enable edit mode
- Draw a bounding box around the damage by clicking and dragging the mouse, and then click the Tick icon
- Select the damage type
- Select the intensity of the damage if applicable, and click Save
- Click the Back arrow icon to return to the details page
- The added damage is now visible in the damages table
Changing damage status
The status of a detected damage can be edited, by either changing a damage detected as 'New' to 'Existing', and vice versa.

To change the status of a damage detected as 'New' to 'Existing', follow these steps. In this example, a dent on the front bumper is being edited.
- Click on the thumbnail of the damage to be edited
- The detected damages and their statuses are shown at the top of the popup. Click on the double-arrow icon to change status
- Select 'Existing damage' from the status drop-down
- From the list of previously detected damages on the front bumper, choose the corresponding damage and click Save
- Confirm the change of status
- Edited status is reflected in the damages table
Existing to new
Similarly, to change the status of an 'Existing' damage to 'New', follow these steps:
- In the damage popup of the Existing damage, click on the arrow icon
- Select 'New damage' from the status dropdown
- Confirm the change of status. This will be reflected in the damage table accordingly.

A detected damage can be removed from the vehicle by following these steps. In this example, a wrongly detected damage on the right sliding door is being removed.
- Click on the thumbnail of the damage you wish to remove
- In the ribbon bar at the top, click on the double-arrow icon to change the status
- Select 'Not a damage' from the status drop-down
