Multi-Factor Authentication for login to web portal

Created by Ahamed Suhail, Modified on Wed, 9 Oct, 2024 at 11:26 AM by Ahamed Suhail

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security, we have introduced OTP-based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all the users signing into the Smart Eye web portal. When signing in, users created in Smart Eye Web portal with a valid email ID should enter their email id (as their User ID in lower case letters) and Password, after which a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to their registered email address. Users will need to enter this OTP to complete the sign-in process. This additional layer of security ensures that only you can access your account.

Please note:
1. If valid email is not setup, then it will allow you to login without OTP

2. Integration users (MTAB and NPAD) will not have any impact, since this enforcement is only for Web app users.
