Initial Configuration Download:
Upon your first login to the app, it's crucial to have a stable internet connection. The app downloads initial configuration data at this stage to enable seamless offline functionality. Failure to download this data due to poor or no network connectivity will result in an "Error" message.
Carryout an Inspection
Step 1: Connectivity Check
When you initiate an inspection, the app first checks for internet connectivity.
No Internet: The app will automatically switch to offline mode. Note that you cannot manually revert to online mode in this case.
Weak Internet: The app will recommend conducting the inspection in offline mode. However, you have the option to manually switch to online mode by toggling off the "Offline Mode" option.
Good Internet: The app will recommend conducting inspection in online mode. However, if required, you have the option to manually switch to offline mode by toggling on the "Offline Mode" option.
Step 2: Add Inspection Details
Just as in online mode, you'll need to:
- Enter the vehicle details
- Capture the required images
- Complete the checklist
Step 3: Uploading Inspections
The app will automatically upload any pending inspections when it detects a stable internet connection. If the upload doesn't start automatically, tap the "Upload" button to initiate the process manually.
View Results
After completing the inspection, you can access the analysed results for further insights.
Important Warnings
- Closing the app will not interrupt ongoing uploads. Notifications will disappear automatically once the upload is complete
- Logging off before the upload is complete will result in data loss. You will need to redo the inspection in such cases.
- Killing (force-closing) the app while in the process of creating inspection, will lead to data loss.
